Hanoi is about to reclaim land and clear the site for a high-speed railway project.

The North-South high-speed railway is 1,541 km long, of which the section through Hanoi is 27.9 km long with the land area recovered to implement the project being about 112.74 hectares.

With experience in railways, airways, roads, and waterways in the US, Europe, China, and ASEAN, Associate Professor Dr. Vo Tri Hao recognized the outstanding advantages of high-speed railways, to answer the question of why the North-South high-speed railway should be deployed soon.

To shape and orient the Vietnamese railway industrial ecosystem, including enterprises, research organizations, and regulatory agencies, serving the new stage of railway development in Vietnam, especially in the context of ongoing railway projects.
